About KanVets United

KanVets United is dedicated to providing relief for poor, distressed and underprivileged veterans in the Wichita, Kansas area.

Our first project was helping Wichita veterans needing food assistance during the corona virus pandemic. We will have delivered approximately 1500 meals to area veterans during the month of April, 2020. Since then we have grown into helping veterans all over the Wichita community in many different ways. We work directly with the Bob Dole VA HUD/VASH team, and assist with rent, utilities, and other financial matters when the VA cannot help. We will be implementing other projects as we move forward with the KanVets United 501(c)3 organization.

As we transition from responding to emergency needs, KanVets United hopes to build a sustainable support system for disadvantaged local heroes as they continue to overcome daily battles. Our hope is that in addition to meeting immediate, short-term financial needs, the Foundation will offer encouragement and camaraderie through its growing network of assisted veterans, supporters, volunteers, and professional providers. We strive to remain agile in responding to the ever changing needs of Wichita’s veteran population. Your support helps!
